ORTHOCLASE is a three-dimensional lighting sculpture made for Tokyo Design Week 2015.  The central white cube is held at an angle by clear acrylic frames and is internally lit by 78 individually programmed full spectrum LED.  The cube only meets the frames at its edges as it is not affixed to the frames.  If viewed from the right spots, the cube can be seen aligned to the frame, creating two-dimensional illusions.
