Sean Adamas was commissioned by City of Joondalup to create a project that engages schools and community groups within the City area. In total, there are 16 schools and 6 community groups participated in the project. Additionally, 4 pairs of wings were created through direct to community engagement at Music in the Park concerts and 2 pairs of wings were created from sessions at Warwick Grove Shopping Centre.
A total of 32 pairs of wings were on display at Hillarys Boat Harbour and at various locations throughout the City of Joondalup.

Joondalup Festival 2023
Soaring - Field of Flight is the culmination of a poignant community art project that highlights resilience, positivity, and aspirations for the future. It is a temporary public art installation based on community art project titled Soaring: Hopes & Dreams from November 2022 until March 2023.
The sculpture collection was on display at Hillarys Boat Harbour as well as various locations throughout the City of Joondalup as part of Joondalup Festival 2023.
29 pairs of wings were on display at Hillarys Boat Harbour forJoondalup Festival 2023, one pair was at the Joondalup Library, and two pairs were displayed at Warwick Groive Shopping Centre. Joondalup Festival 2023 was held from 10 March to 2 April 2023.
